Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Here is what is coming up at Immanuel:
1. Correction to last week’s announcements: Because of a schedule error on my (Pastor Ben) part, our final vision statement will take place on August 26th, not July 26th, as I had stated last week, this means that our vision/guiding statement will be available in September and training on putting it into action will take place following it with the intent that we will be fulling living it as a congregation by January of 25. Sorry for the confusion.
2. August 11th is Rally day, we encourage you to join us as we bless our Academy, teachers, and all students. Headmaster Roger’s will also be sharing the completion of the accreditation process. We will also have our annual Ministry Fair on this day. We hope you can join us for this celebratory day.
3. This Sunday (August 4th) Wyatt Braedon Feyard will be baptized.
4. During the Adult education class we will be continuing our work through the most famous of our biblical Judges with Samson, if you want to read ahead please look at Judges chapter 14.
5. Our sermon this week will focus on our Epistle reading from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 1-16. Specifically focusing on “Casting off the chains that prevent us from living the calling God has for each of us.”
