Weekly News - May 23
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
1. The visioning survey is now open! On top of the online or hard copy survey (available this Sunday), we also have an interactive bulletin board in the main hallway for you to share some insights and see what others are saying, this week’s question “If resources were not an issue, what could Immanuel add to its ministry?” We look forward to hearing from you! 2. Speaking of visioning mark your calendars for June 19th @ 6:30pm for our “Paint our future” event. Light Refreshments and Child Care will be provided.
3. June 9th is our kickoff to the summer celebration and church picnic. We are asking family units with a last name starting between A – L to bring a side dish and those whose name starts with M -Z to bring a dessert.
4. Men's Group: On Saturday, June 8th, the men's group will be working on the church and school property.
- Our goal is a renovation of the band and music area in the annex, which is in dire need of repair.
- Schedule: 9:00 AM Meet at the Church: Breakfast will be provided. Pastor Ben will be leading a devotional.
After breakfast: The BBQ team will begin smoking the meat for the church Picnic. The team is Kyle, Pastor and Gary.
The rest of us will go to the annex and begin. There will be some light demolition, drywall repair and painting in the rooms. If you have painting equipment, please bring it. Gloves are recommended for the demo work as well as hammers, pry bars, etc.
Many hands make light work, so please plan on meeting us and helping this to go quickly.

5. If you haven’t signed them up yet, now is the time to register your kids for our upcoming VBS, “Hidden Within, Jesus is My Treasure”, taking place June 17-21st. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - PARTICIPANT OR VOLUNTEER
