Pastor Braun's Weekly News - April 11

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
Here is what is coming up this week at Immanuel.
 
1.     This Sunday is a great opportunity to reconnect with Pastor Rostek who will be leading us in Bible Study at 9 am and in worship at 10 am!  We hope you can join us.  
2.     This Sunday during the announcements I will also be providing an update on the next steps in our 2024 strategic planning process.
3.     Thank you to all of our youth and adults who showed up on Saturday for our day of service!  We appreciate all that you do for our Lord, our congregation and our community.
4.     We are working on building the praise band and would like you to be involved.  
If you are an instrumentalist, vocalist or both and are interested, please contact Chris Winston at church. cwinston@immanuelba.org  If you know someone who would be interested, have them contact me as well.  We will rehearse Thursday evenings at 7:00.  
On the weeks that the band performs, we will have about 6 members in the group, so the commitment is not to every rehearsal.
5.     Starting next Sunday, April 21st during our adult education class we will begin our study on the Old Testament Judges entitled “The Rise and Fall of the Judges”.
6.     Please keep our Academy and Preschool in your prayers as they continue going through the accreditation process.  This week is an important one, as we will be hosting the site visit team April 16th to 18th.
